As a maternity photographer in York, I find there is something so magical about those last few weeks before your precious little one arrives. The excitement and anticipation of when, or how they will arrive, or even who they will be! It is the perfect time to create some beautiful portraits with Hayley Dickenson Photography - maternity photographer in York.

With all of the nerves of becoming a first-time mum, let’s cherish how incredible you are, growing a tiny human being! Maternity portraits can be booked on their own or together with a newborn portrait session included.

1 hour maternity session either in my studio in Stamford Bridge York or at a chosen outdoor location nearby. Examples include; in a beautiful wood setting, a park, around a pond/lake or open fields as some examples.

Of course you can also take some photos with your partner and / or older children. If you prefer to take the photos inside the studio this is an option also in front of a beautiful backdrop.

Pregnancy photography is best captured between weeks 32 and week 36 when your belly is nice and round. However, you can reserve your date as early as your 12-week scan! 

If you are expecting twins – or even more! – then I’d recommend you having your shoot earlier in your pregnancy to avoid the risk of babies arriving early.
